Oh yes, I like that greatly, but say, can it be that this is a second version of this image? I can remember a very similar image (with a different sky, I think) from at least two, most likely three years ago.

Ted, magnificent!

The Turner influence in indeed there. Would he have fun with our modern digital art tools!

But I do find myself wondering whether this same or similar effect can be obtained by using only the tools found in PS CS3?

(Angel) : Gracias... You are very generous.

(Andreas) Yessss! You are so complimentary to recall this image Andreas. I was never happy with that interpretation and I wanted to capture a feeling of Autumn but when we visited the Chesapeake last weekend I, um, er.... forgot my camera. Sigh....
.
(Flo) I find that Turner is beginning to tug at my work. While Edward Hopper is perhaps my favorite American artist, Turner's influence seems to be increasingly muscle Hopper out of my vision. I wonder why? And yes, there is enormous power in CS3/4 to use brushes in Filter>Liquify to accomplish much the same painterly result. There are other alternatives as well.
