Often it seems the guy was right who noticed that we are merely another brand, jostling for attention on a crowded shelf. Which inevitably drives some clever marketers to crank the flamboyant dial way up - which I guess also explains the market for Wunder-Bras and warmly appealing bearded guys in orange who saxophone a haunting shriek of Amazing Grace.

Hey… it’s a plan. Right?

One of the laws of marketing is that if you can't be first in a category, set up a new category that you can be first in. Sometimes that requires an orange shirt.

As always, I find your work inspiring.

Hehe, another one of your "Who-needs-a-Lensbaby" shots :)

I think John is right about categories and you are right in tagging the image "summer". This pretty much covers the essence of it. You know, I always envy your feeling for color. It's always a little over the top in the most tasteful way, gaudy and brilliant, never boring at all.

John! You've put it masterfully! Yes... how often life requires an orange shirt of us all, eh? Thanks for the thoughts.

And Andreas I think gaudy is not an understatement for what happens when my fingers begin to crank up the chrome in my images. And I thought I'd been cautiously conservative this time. You shoulda seen what I almost posted.... Whew!
